Dodge Danpei is a character from the anime, manga and game of the same title.
Ichihgeki Danpei is the son of Ichigeki Daijurô, a great Dodgeball player. As his father, Danpei gives all he has for this game and so it shows in every match.
In Japan, dodge ball is a serious business that they had to make a game, an anime and a manga out of it.
This is actually an anime that runs back during the year of 1990s.
The game was released along the same years as an SNES titled Honoo no tokyuji Dodge Danpei.
