Here’s another straightforward military model from kamino-ss.jp. The BMP-1 infantry fighting papercraft . It’s easy to put together and still looks solid once finished.
Model is scale at 1:72.
The BMP-1 is a Soviet amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle that’s been in service since 1966. BMP stands for Boyevaya Mashina Pyekhoty 1, which means “infantry fighting vehicle, first serial model.” It was the first mass-produced IFV used by the Soviet Union.
I think I might have a few other Russian military models on the site somewhere, but they’re pretty limited. Most of the trend has been around building German and British military vehicles. Hopefully, we’ll come across more papercraft from other countries in the future.
