I came across this model and thought it looked great to share. Then I did some research on the mecha background and discovered that the premise is similar to Gundam in many aspects, except this one is American!

Robot Jox is a 1989 sci-fi movie set in a dystopian future where wars are fought with giant piloted robots instead of armies.
The story follows Achilles, a talented “jox,” as he competes in gladiatorial battles to resolve international conflicts after the devastating Third World War.
With rising political tensions and the threat of an all-out war looming, Achilles has to face not just a tough opponent from the rival faction but also the challenges of love and loyalty.
The film dives into themes of honor, the impact of technology on warfare, and the resilience of the human spirit amid mechanized combat.
The scale of this model is 1/250 and the designer, Rawen 2024, describes it as a very challenging build. So, keep that in mind, and please don’t email me asking for tutorials, I’m a bit of a lazy person, lol.
