Yamaha YZR-M1 Superbike Papercraft Diorama
Yamaha recently releases YZR-M1 paper model kit that was based on Superbike ridden by Valentino Rossi.
Why was this model chosen by Yamaha with Valentino Rossi name slapped on it ? It’s because Valentino Rossi rode Yamaha superbike YZR-M1 in his legendary run at Laguna Seca in 2008 MOTOGP race. On 20th of July 20008, he won his first victory at Laguna Seca race track with YZR-M1.
By making this bike into a paper model kit pretty much means that Yamaha marketing man thinks this was a good way to promote their bikes to loaded youngster out there.
What special about this model kit is that it comes in 4 big parts, the parts are the superbike, the rider, the background and the foundation base for the background. If you didn’t get that, it means you’re getting a bike model, a supposed to be Valentino Rossi figure model and a diorama of Laguna Seca race track.
YZR-M1 model kit was designed by non other than Mr. Mukouyama, a papercraft designer who has been in charge of producing papercraft models offered at the Yamaha Motor website. Yes he’s the genius god of Yamaha motorbikes model we’ve been seeing all these time. Banzai!!
