HK 23 Machine Gun Papercraft model is based on modern firearm Heckler und Koch 7,62mm HK 11 / HK 21 and 5,56mm HK 13 / HK 23 machine gun (Germany) . We can see this type of machine gun being used a lot in WW2 movies and also Italian American mobs movies.
I remembered seeing Tom Hanks holding it in his Road to Perdition’s movie. That was one awesome movie.. Solomon corrected me and informed us that Hk23 is not existed yet in the era depicted by Tom Hanks in the movie. Tom Hanks was using Thompson M1 submachine gun.
