EF52 1 is the first domestic electric locomotive in Japan National Railways. It was built in 1928. This is the grandfather of the great great great grandfather of all Japanese electric train.
The train is built by the cooperation of Ministry of Railways and four private company.
It runs on Tokaido line in the Taisho era. EF52 is uses for passenger transport only until the war.
It’s either halted or used as a cargo transport during WW2, I can’t confirm since the translation I found is confusing.
Is a fairly easy craft for kids and adults to build , requires only 2 piece of paper. Templates comes in PDF.
