“Kirishima” (DDG – 174) is a powerful escort ship owned by the Japanese Self – Defense Force Maritime , and is generally a battleship ship called “Aegis ship”.
Kirishima was a warship of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War I and World War II.
It was built as the second ship following the first ship “Kogo”, belonging to the Eight Escort Guard and it uses Yokosuka as its fixed port.
