This is the GN-001 Avalanche Exia papercraft designed by liulang118. Our last mecha model didn’t get much attention even though it was poseable, but I have a feeling that most of you are going to love this Avalanche Exia.
The GN-001 Avalanche Exia is an upgraded version of the original Exia from Gundam 00 and it’s pretty cool because it has some awesome enhancements and a unique design.
It comes with some great weapons like the GN Long Blade and GN Short Blade for close up fights, plus GN Beam Gatlings on its shoulders for those ranged attacks. The Avalanche Systems give it extra stability and armor so it’s ready for some tough environments.
When it comes to merch, the Avalanche Exia is a hit with collectors. You can find a bunch of model kits, including High Grade (HG) versions that are perfect for beginners with good detail, easy to build, and fun to play with.
If you’re more experienced, there are Master Grade (MG) kits that have intricate parts and better articulation. Plus, there are limited edition releases and variations that really highlight its unique design and cool weaponry.
Like any decent Gundam papercraft model, the templates are pretty challenging and come with a lot of pages to print. In my opinion, this Exia Gundam papercraft has a similar level of difficulty and number of parts as the MG/RG kits. So if you decide to tackle this one, be prepared for some long hours of patience!
