Place Royale is where Samuel de Champlain founded Québec City in 1608. The buildings show both French and British styles, and it’s home to the oldest stone church in North America. The square has a unique charm.
This is the exact spot where Champlain built the first permanent French settlement in the Americas. His first building was a fort, trading post, storage space, and home all in one. That’s why Place Royale is called the birthplace of French North America.
This Place Royale papercraft build uses 26 sheets of paper, so it’s definitely an advanced project and will take some time to finish. It’s perfect for anyone who loves architecture and enjoys long, detailed builds.
