Star Trek III USS Excelsior Papercraft

Today’s papercraft is the USS Excelsior from Star Trek III, designed by Rawen from PR Models.
The USS Excelsior (NCC-2000) made its debut in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) as an experimental ship testing transwarp drive. That project didn’t work out, but the Excelsior-class went on to become one of Starfleet’s most reliable ship designs, sticking around for over a century.
Captain Hikaru Sulu took command of the Excelsior in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, where it played a major role in stopping a war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. The Excelsior-class kept showing up across Star Trek, making appearances in The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.
This set actually includes three models: the USS Excelsior, USS Grissom, and a Klingon Bird of Prey. The PR Model website is currently down, along with the original download link, so I’ve uploaded them here. But if you’re interested, be sure to check out their Facebook page for more of their work.
