Union Pacific Big Boy Train Paper craft

The Union Pacific Big Boy is a type of articulated 4-8-8-4 steam locomotive built by the American Locomotive Company between 1941 and 1944. It was used by the Union Pacific Railroad in regular service until 1959.

I’ve read that this might be the largest locomotive ever built, but I’m not entirely sure if that’s accurate. Can you guys clarify this for me?

Regardless, I think it’s one of the most impressive looking steam locomotives I’ve seen.
