Today, we’ve got another model shared by Obed, it’s the USS Arizona battleship papercraft.

The USS Arizona was a standard-type battleship that the United States Navy built in the mid-1910s. Named after the 48th state, she was the second and final vessel in the Pennsylvania class.

After her commissioning in 1916, Arizona stayed in the U.S. during World War I, but she did have the important task of escorting President Woodrow Wilson to the Paris Peace Conference.

In 1919, she was again deployed overseas to represent American interests during the Greco-Turkish War. Two years later, she was assigned to the Pacific Fleet, where she would serve for the remainder of her career.

That’s the description from Wikipedia. Scale at 1:200, the USS Arizona is a fully historical battleship that’s definitely worth building as a papercraft for display because it looks amazing and beautiful.

The next battleship model I’ll be sharing is the Prince of Wales. Be sure to check back in a few days!
