F6F-3 Hellcat is a fighter aircraft manufactured by Grumman for the US Navy.

It was then used by the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps , British Royal Navy and French Navy.

F6F-3 Hellcat here is the main fighter plane used in second part of WW2 and was credited of crushing more than 2000 enemy fighters. It was first introduced in 1942 succeeding Wildcart fighter plane and retired in 1960.
