The title of today’s papercraft is quite a mouthful: it’s the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Mumei Papercraft. I have to say it’s a pretty challenging model to build mainly because of how the assembly guide is laid out.
Mumei, whose real name is Hozumi, is the main female lead in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. She’s a bit of a mystery at first, but eventually she reveals that she’s actually a Kabaneri. Plus, she’s the adoptive younger sister of Biba Amatori who leads the Hunters.
I can barely remember the details, but I think Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is about a guy on a train that gets attacked by something. He ends up using his weapon and somehow turns into a half-zombie, half-human character. There are moments when he goes into a rage and nearly attacks his love interest. That’s about all I recall because I ended up quitting the show after that.
This model created by Youlingke, is just a preview version of the original. That’s why the assembly guide is also a “preview.” If you like the model, be sure to purchase the premium version from Youlingke.
