Ponko is a mascot for WEAHTEROID Type A Airi .
It seems that Everything in Japan has its own mascot , mostly for company with product to market. So Ponko here is the main mascot of WEAHTEROID Type A Airi according to Japanese pepakura designer S.V.
Ponko is cute and easy to assemble since she is a chibi character that does not requires many parts and papers to build.
Even though she is not from an anime or manga/ games character I think she is worth while to build. Also she looks a bit like Cinderella iDolm@ster characters to me …
