I was browsing and came across some interesting DIY papercrafts kits from Studio Ghibli and they look really cool, and I’d love to try building them myself.

The one that seems to be the most popular is Howl’s Moving Castle. It turns out there are three versions available, but one of them is a block style set similar to LEGO. Let’s take a look at the first version.

What attracts me to this model is that it was designed to look just like the real thing, but in a way that’s easy to assemble. It’s a project you could work on by yourself or with your family.

Look at how many printed paper sheets it comes with. Plus, it’s all made of cardboard.

This would be perfect if I had the money. Since I don’t, let’s check out the more affordable option for the Howl’s Moving Castle papercraft kit.

It turns out that the cheaper version is actually the same model I posted for free here. It’s just someone selling the printed templates on Amazon.

So, unless you don’t have a printer or the energy to find the right paper, this could be a good option.

Then there’s this unofficial LEGO set of Howl’s Moving Castle. I’m not sure if it qualifies as a bootleg since it doesn’t claim to be LEGO but is labeled as a building block set.

It still looks really good, though. It wouldn’t be embarrassing to display it in my hall of fame alongside all those masks I’ve made.

That’s all for today. I’m tired of browsing for now. If I come across more interesting finds, I’ll share them with you all again.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of the kits I mentioned, you can find the links in each product title. Oh, and I earn a small commission if you buy through those links. Thanks!
