Simon is the youngest brother of Kamina. Both of them are humans that lives underground however Kamina is determined to break outside.

They finally managed to get outside and able to use Gurren Lagann- a mecha gundam like machine.

Together with his brother Kamina, Simon is good in maneuvering Lagann however he lacks of confident without his brother around.

With the helps of friends from underground that escapes together with him, Simon build his confidence and became the leader of human.
