The Timber Wolf is a fast, heavy OmniMech and a key symbol of the Clans’ military power. It was probably the first Clan OmniMech encountered by Inner Sphere forces (rather than periphery forces) when Phelan Kell met it on The Rock in 3049.
BattleTech is a wargaming and sci-fi franchise that kicked off back in 1984 with FASA Corporation, was acquired by WizKids in 2000, and has been owned by Topps since 2003.
It all started with FASA’s board game BattleTech (originally called BattleDroids), created by Jordan Weisman and L. Ross Babcock III.
Since then, the franchise has expanded to include tons of expansions for the original game, several computer and video games, a collectible card game, over 100 novels, an animated TV series, and more.
