I missed out on a lot of anime in the years after my mom passed, so I didn’t even know Hanako-kun was a thing. Anyway, today we have a Hanako-kun papercraft from Kedama Craft.
Information
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a Japanese manga series created by Iro and illustrated by Aida, which is how they got the combined name ‘AidaIro’. It’s been running in Square Enix’s Monthly GFantasy magazine since 2014 and has 23 tankōbon volumes collected as of December 2024.
If I’m not mistaken, the original Hanako is a girl, but in AidaIro’s version, it’s a guy instead. I guess that makes it a bit less scary to watch.
I doubt it’s really a scary story, to begin with.
The papercraft model includes a PDO instruction guide and a PDF template, and it’s around medium to hard difficulty.
