Difficulty :

In 1714 Swedish scientist Emanuel Swedenborg sketched an idea for a primitive flying machine. The design consisted of one large oblong wing, mounted on tall stilts with a balance weight slung under cockpit.

Two large oars on ether side of the cockpit would propel the ship. Swedenborg knew that his idea would never work, knowing that greater power than that of a human would be required to lift the machine.

This model is design by Bryan Tan aka Rocketman. He design a lot of steampunk models so if you’re interested make sure to visit his Deviantart and Facebook page.
