Today we have a spy plane papercraft to share and it’s SR-71 Blackbird papercraft.
The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird was an insanely fast spy plane built by Lockheed Corporation during the Cold War. It was designed to fly super high and faster than almost any missile could catch it.. over Mach 3, which is more than three times the speed of sound.
The plane’s main job was reconnaissance, meaning it secretly gathered photos and intelligence over enemy territory without getting shot down. Its sleek black design helped reduce heat from flying that fast, which is also where the name “Blackbird” came from.
Even though it first flew in the 1960s, the SR-71 still feels futuristic today because of its speed, altitude, and advanced technology. A lot of people consider it one of the coolest aircraft ever made.
The papercraft needs 8 sheets of paper, either 8.5×11 letter size or A4. It’s better to use thicker paper kinda like cardstock. It also comes with a tutorial, though it’s in Czech or italian… i’m not sure.
The scale is 1:50
