Today, let’s try building the Chapel of Saint Xenia papercraft. It’s a unique chapel with an interesting history in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Xenia of St. Petersburg is the patron saint of the city. According to tradition, she gave away all her possessions to the poor after her husband died. Her husband was Colonel Andrey Fyodorovich Petrov, who served as a chanter at the Saint Andrew Cathedral.
It has been recognized as an ornate chapel since the 1900s.
There’s more unique history behind it, but I’ll let you all look into that. The scale for this papercraft is 1/100, and it was originally a cardboard model that requires no scissors or glue. This version is a scanned version adapted for papercrafting instead.
