Hurr Durr. Hard Wurk. Much Fun. Wow

I was looking for a particular model and stumble upon one of the oldest and among the largest papercraft database existed on internet which has totally change its style to something like MYP.

This isn’t new though. Last year I found two newly build website, that tried to copy MYP style but fail horribly. The site has large database too but the person obviously doing it for money.

The old and largest website that I stumbled upon just now copied everything from writing styles, theme, categories and tags which amuse me really. Although a bit spammy he did had his own style before, an identity of his own but ended up copying me – a new born in this niche.

I consider MYP a newborn since we’ve only been around since 2011 and they were here way back before then.

I do know the guy followed my site long enough, not sure if he would read this but seriously lol.. Was MYP that intimidating that people had to copy our style? I’m not angry but I am shock to see one of the oldest site did something like that 😛

Not sure if I should take it as a compliment either?

But that’s life. Everyone copies someone and some manage to reinvent it into something better. A lil bit of advice from me, no matter how much we try to imitate something, viewers/readers/users can tell the original.
